To strengthen our Development & Engineering team, we are looking for a structured, autonomous, and technically sharp Datacenter Project Manager.
Your Responsibilities
Project Management & Coordination
- Lead datacenter development projects from feasibility to commissioning
- Build and maintain detailed schedules (Gantt, critical milestones) and budgets
- Coordinate internal (technical, commercial, legal, finance) and external (architects, engineers, contractors, vendors) stakeholders
- Run site and project meetings; write minutes and ensure reporting to management
- Identify and proactively manage risks; define and implement mitigation plans
Development & Feasibility
- Conduct technical, economic and regulatory feasibility studies for new sites
- Lead administrative procedures (building permits, impact studies, electrical connections)
- Evaluate alternative technical solutions and arbitrate on architecture choices
- Participate in vendor and contractor negotiations
Critical Infrastructure
- Oversee integration of critical infrastructure: HV/LV power distribution, generators, UPS, cooling (CRAC/CRAH/free-cooling)
- Ensure performance compliance and quality control of delivered infrastructure
- Coordinate commissioning and testing phases
Certifications & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with standards and certifications (ISO 27001, ISO 50001, Uptime Institute Tier, EN 50600)
- Contribute to sustainability approach (PUE, WUE, decarbonization)
Commercialization
- Contribute to defining commercial offers (colocation, HPC, bare-metal GPU)
- Participate in client technical presentations and RFI/RFP responses
Your Profile
Education & Experience
- Master's degree in engineering (electrical, civil, mechanical, or IT/networks)
- 2–5 years in datacenter project management or critical infrastructure
- Knowledge of datacenter standards (Tier, EN 50600, ISO)
- Project management skills (PMP, Prince2 a plus)
Technical Skills
- Understanding of critical infrastructure: power, cooling, connectivity
- Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent)
Personal Qualities
- Rigorous, structured, autonomous, with excellent communication skills
- Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Languages
- English: C1 required
- French: fluent; additional languages are a plus
