To strengthen our Infrastructure team in Paris, we are looking for a rigorous, hands-on, and committed Data Center Technician.

 

Your Responsibilities

As a Data Center Technician, you will be at the heart of our physical infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the equipment hosted in our data centers.

Operations & Monitoring

• Monitor equipment in real time (servers, networks, power supplies, cooling systems).
• Respond to incidents and alerts, perform first-level diagnostics, and escalate anomalies.
• Ensure service continuity and compliance with client SLAs.
• Carry out on-call operations according to the established schedule.

Maintenance & Physical Interventions

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on physical equipment.
• Execute rack & stack operations (installation, cabling, hardware replacement), including MPO fiber cabling.
• Manage intervention tickets (ITSM): tracking, updating, and closing.

Capacity Management & Asset Management

• Keep hardware asset inventories (CMDB) up to date.
• Manage logistics for equipment deliveries and shipments.
• Contribute to tracking rack density and electrical capacity.

Security & Compliance

• Contribute to drafting and updating operational documentation (run books, procedures).
• Participate in internal audits and BCP/DRP exercises.

 

Your Profile

• Education: Minimum Bac+2 (BTS SIO, CCNA, or equivalent) in IT, networking, or electrical engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a data center or server room environment. Experience in a carrier-neutral or hyperscale data center is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of physical infrastructure (servers, switches, racks, PDUs, UPS); familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, ticketing systems); networking basics (VLANs, fiber optics, structured cabling). Linux command-line proficiency is an advantage.
• Personal Qualities: Rigorous and methodical, with a strong sense of priorities in high-stakes environments. Autonomous and able to take initiative during incidents. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Team player, available for on-call duties, and open to travel.
• Languages: Fluent French required (working language); professional English required (technical documentation and international team interactions).
