The cluster, leveraging the Dell PowerEdge XE9680 servers equipped with NVIDIA H200 Tensor Core GPUs, is among the first of its kind in Europe and aims to position France as a leading player in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).

Based on Dell PowerEdge XE9680 servers with NVIDIA H200 Tensor Core GPUs, this high performance computing (HPC) cluster offers 141 gigabytes (GB) of HBM3e memory at 4.8 terabytes per second (TB/s) - that’s 1.6x the capacity of the NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPU with 1.4X more memory bandwidth. The H200’s larger and faster memory accelerates generative AI and large language models, while advancing scientific computing for HPC workloads with better energy efficiency and lower total cost of ownership. Combined with InfiniBand interconnect, a powerful new architecture that is designed to support I/O connectivity, this infrastructure ensures scalability and optimal performance for the most demanding AI projects.
